Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6: up to $1,200 off with a trade-in, or $300 store credit at Samsung
Samsung has just upped its Galaxy Z Fold 6 deals substantially this week, with the option to get a massive $300 in store credit. If that doesn't float your boat, then you can still get the record-breaking trade-in rebate of up to $1,200 and a free storage upgrade - both of which are just as good as the deals we saw during the initial preorders window back in July. Note that the credit alone is enough to get some freebies like the Galaxy Watch 7 or a pair of Galaxy Buds Pro3.
Flip 6: up to $800 off with trade, plus free storage upgrade
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6: up to $1,100 off with a trade-in, plus tablet and smartwatch for $0.99/mo at AT&T
Quite possibly the best big carrier deal on the new Galaxy Z Fold 6, AT&T is also offering record-breaking trade-in rebates on the new foldable. Right now, the possible $1,100 discount here is actually the best on the entire AT&T site - and the carrier is also offering the option to bundle in a Galaxy Tab A9+ tablet and new Galaxy Watch 7 for just $0.99 each. Note, however, that you will need to pay for accessory cellular lines separately.
Flip 6: free with an eligible trade trade, add tablet or watch for $0.99
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6: up to $800 off with a trade-in, plus free Galaxy Watch 7 and tablet at Verizon
Verizon's focus for its Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 deals is on offering great freebies. Right now, you can pick up either device with a free Galaxy Watch 7 smartwatch and a Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablet as long as you're willing to pay a bit extra each month for their required cellular lines. In addition to the free devices, Verizon is also offering a trade-in rebate of up to $800, which can be used to cut the price of the phones right down to size.
Flip 6: up to $800 off with a trade-in, plus free Watch and tablet

Amazon still has some leftover gift cards from the initial preorders phase, which means you can bundle up your new Galaxy Z Fold 6 with a useful freebie. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6: get up to £640 off with a trade-in, plus free Chromebook at Samsung
Samsung UK has recently switched up its Galaxy Z Fold 6 deals to include a free Samsung Chromebook with every phone purchase. Is it an expensive laptop? Nope, but this is a really cool freebie and potentially useful if you're looking for a portable lightweight machine on the side. Otherwise, you can still get Samsung's excellent trade-in rebate of up to £640, which remains the best deal for unlocked devices right now.
How much do these devices cost?
Header Cell - Column 0 | Galaxy Z Fold 6 | Galaxy Z Flip 6 |
---|---|---|
US starting price | $1,899.99 | $1,099.99 |
UK starting price | £1,799 | £1,049 |
The latest devices have had price hikes across both territories, except for the Flip 6's starting price in the UK. To date, these are the priciest foldable flagships yet from Samsung, although they do carry some decent upgrades that could justify that bump in costs.
If you can, we'd obviously recommend trading in or using the above deals as there are some superb ways to cut that price tag right down to size this week.
What's new?
- Latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset
- 2,600 nits display
- Revised design on the Fold 6
- Upgraded 50MP camera on the Flip 6
Both of Samsung's latest foldable flagships feature the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is the same excellent processor that powers the Galaxy S24 series. In short, you can expect blazingly quick performance with both devices across a range of applications - including those utilizing AI.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold 6 is noticeably lighter and thinner than the Fold 5, with a more squared-off design around the outer bezels. It has a brighter 2,600 nits display with 120Hz refresh rate. Camera-wise, it retains last year’s 50MP main wide and 10MP 3x optical zoom camera but has an upgraded 12MP ultrawide and sensor that's supposedly better equipped for low-light situations.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 design remains largely unchanged aside from some minor aesthetic additions to the camera housing. It does, however, now feature an IP48 dust and water resistance rating, which is better than its predecessor's water-only rating. The screen size and form factor remain unchanged versus the 5, but the display now has 2,600 nits max brightness. Perhaps the biggest upgrade is the new 50MP main camera, which offers a significant bump in resolution versus the 12MP on the Flip 5.
Arguably the most notable improvements come in the form of software - specifically AI integration. These touch on many areas, from photography, image and video editing, to cross-language conversation. Depending on your proclivities these could be pretty gimmicky, but most have the potential to be extremely useful. Note, however, that some features are cloud-based so you'll need a cellular connection to use them.
